Family Promise HCR is a partner with United Way of the Capital Region: Workforce Development as a case management site. This full-service workforce development program removes barriers that prevent successful employment for individuals over the age of 18.

FPHCR serves as one of several case management sites for United Way’s Workforce Development program. We serve 40-60 participants monthly.

The Workforce Development program helps the un-and under-employed in Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry Counties obtain jobs where they can earn a living wage and find a path to financial independence.

 It also provides comprehensive support services in finding employment. This includes soft skills training, access to local training programs, and assistance with resources for transportation and childcare.
