Donating appreciated stocks or securities may allow you to avoid capital gains taxes while receiving a charitable tax deduction. Your gift helps families while maximizing your impact.
Beneficiary Designation
Name Family Promise as a beneficiary of your retirement account, life insurance policy, bank account, or investment account. It’s a simple way to make a future gift without changing your will.
Bequest
Leave a lasting legacy by including Family Promise of Harrisburg Capital Region in your will or estate plan. A bequest allows you to make a meaningful future gift while maintaining control of your assets during your lifetime.
Charitable Remainder Trust
A Charitable Remainder Trust allows you to receive income from your assets during your lifetime while providing a future gift to Family Promise. This option can offer tax benefits while creating a lasting legacy for families experiencing homelessness.
